This company has installed new WIP choosing blue belt conveyors. The main advantage of blue belt conveyor is related to the stack height, that can be greater because the stack stability. The height growth gives more WIP capacity, and it makes this technology more competitive. The WIP area has been designed as LIFO (last in first out) two tier WIP, where a shuttle car is feeding the WIP and another one is feeding the converting machine. The shuttle cars are running at high speed to achieve the performance of the corrugator and converting machines.
